Scope, timing and billing details
Money
Prices are in USD before applicable tax. The approved scope states the tax treatment and final total. There is no separate payment surcharge.
Filming day
A full day is 8 call-to-wrap hours; a half day is 4. Setup, breaks, resets and teardown are inside the booked block.
Local travel
NYC filming at one agreed location includes normal local crew transport. Major parking/loading fees, trucks, extra locations and travel outside NYC are disclosed separately.
Editing source limits
Raw-video limits use the sum of camera-file runtimes, not event duration. Two 60-minute camera files equal 120 source minutes. Stream repurposing uses one already-switched feed.
Finished clip
One distinct edit with its own selected moments and hook. Changing only ratio, resolution, subtitles or CTA does not create a new story edit.
Standard delivery
Basic color/audio finishing, English captions, one thumbnail frame, primary format plus one simple alternate crop, and two consolidated revision rounds are included with standard edited videos.
Graphics
Simple logos/lower thirds/titles use supplied branding and are included. Custom animation, illustrations, character work, complex UI motion and 3D are extra.
Revisions
Each round is one consolidated feedback list for the quoted assets. Around mistakes are corrected free. New scripts/concepts, reshoots or newly supplied footage are scope changes, not paid correction rounds.
Turnaround
First-cut clocks start after filming/source acceptance and all required assets. Business days exclude weekends/holidays. Client feedback delays move later dates; final delivery is not guaranteed by the first-cut date.
Add-on eligibility
Add only incremental work beyond package allowances. Validate source duration, crew, platform and calendar limits before accepting payment. No automatic overage charges.
Additional crew
Crew-only, equipment-only and inclusive capture bundles are alternatives. We confirm the actual crew call and supplier minimums before quoting additional time.
Overtime
Approved crew hours beyond an 8-hour day are priced at 1.5 times the role day rate divided by 8. Work beyond 12 hours requires a separate safety and staffing plan, at 2 times the role hourly equivalent.
Rush
A confirmed 3-business-day first cut adds 25% of affected post-production labor; a confirmed 48-hour first cut adds 50%. Only the highest rush tier applies. Five-day delivery does not automatically incur a premium.
Rush exclusions
Rush excludes filming, room rental, licensing, pass-through costs and taxes. Dedicated same-day editor is a separate staffed service; do not also add rush to that editor's booked work.
Weekend / holiday
No universal weekend/holiday percentages. Quote actual scheduled labor premium and availability. Weekday-only studio inventory remains unchanged.
Vendor handling
A disclosed 20% handling fee applies only to external creative or equipment costs genuinely sourced and managed by Around. It does not duplicate handling already included in a quoted item.
Reimbursements
Approved flights, hotels, visas, parking, shipping, meals and permit/insurance fees are at documented actual cost. No generic 20% markup on these reimbursements.
Project management
Ordinary PM included. Additional complex logistics $150/h; routine upload/admin work uses lower managed rates. No separate generic percentage PM fee.
Studio inclusions
Existing in-room cameras, microphones, streaming computer, listed gear, lighting, internet and initial setup help are included. Dedicated operation, producing and editing are additional.
Studio limits
Room-only sessions are 2, 3 or 4 hours, weekdays 9 a.m.-7 p.m., New York time. Longer blocks and produced sessions require scope and availability confirmation. The room is compact; guest count and technical setup are agreed in advance.
Studio cancellation
Refunds require notice more than 168 hours before the exact studio session start. Notice exactly seven days before, or later, is not eligible.
Production cancellation
Owner reviews one-off refunds based on work completed and documented committed nonrecoverable costs, refunding the unused balance. No arbitrary penalty percentage or automatic refund deduction.
Content Engine terms
$15,000/month equivalent. $45,000 quarterly or $153,000 yearly, paid upfront. Annual pricing includes a 15% discount. Same-term renewal with advance notice. Canceling stops the next renewal, not the current paid term. No customer-unused rollover; Around-delayed work remains owed.
Content Engine changes
Cancel the next renewal from your private project link before its due date. The current term is not voluntarily prorated or refunded. Customer-unused allocations do not roll over; work delayed by Around remains owed.
Monthly add-ons
Additional monthly outputs are scoped across the full term: three monthly allocations for a quarter, twelve for a year. Checkout additions are one-time unless a separate agreement explicitly changes the recurring scope. Your renewal price is not silently increased.
Rights
Final brand assets include the agreed owned-channel and ordinary digital advertising use only to the extent music/stock/talent licenses allow. Broadcast, endorsement, exclusivity and buyouts need explicit rights clearance.
Raw footage
Labor-only handoff: $150 small/$300 large, explicit prep limits. Editable consolidation $450 with three-hour limit. Do not stack transfers or charge for ownership. Restricted third-party files excluded/substituted.
Retention
New productions include 90 days of active delivery and footage retention after final approval. Longer retention is optional and must be agreed. This does not change previously agreed client retention terms.
Safety / specialist work
Drones, permits, large sets, underwater work, specialist rigging, union talent and broadcast rights require qualified suppliers and explicit scope approval.
No hidden items
No fees for discovery, payment checkout, normal exports, fixing our mistakes, baseline gear, ordinary setup help or included revision/caption/finishing work.
Simple extracts versus originals
Simple one-episode repurposing $125 each/$600 for six. Original story edits $400 each/$2,000 for six/$3,600 for twelve. Formats alone never increase story count.
